2. Description of Service

Merchant Floor provides AI-powered tools for e-commerce businesses, including:

• Background removal for product images
• AI photo retouching and lifestyle image generation
• Content generation for blogs, product descriptions, and marketing materials
• Product collage and banner creation
• Social media content generation

3. User Accounts

To use our services, you must:

• Create an account with accurate information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Be at least 18 years old or have parental consent
• Use the service only for lawful purposes

4. Credit System and Payments

• Our services use a credit-based system
• Credits are purchased through Stripe or Shopify Billing
• Purchased credits expire after 365 days
• Credits are generally non-refundable once used
• Prices may change with notice

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload illegal, harmful, or copyrighted content
• Attempt to reverse engineer our AI models
• Use our services to create misleading or deceptive content
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Interfere with the security or operation of our services

6. Intellectual Property

• You retain ownership of content you upload
• You grant us license to process your content to provide our services
• Generated content belongs to you, subject to these terms
• Our AI models and technology remain our property

7. Content and Data

• You are responsible for the content you upload
• We may remove content that violates these terms
• We implement reasonable security measures for your data
• You should not upload sensitive personal information

8. Service Availability

• We strive for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service
• We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects service
• We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Our services are provided "as is" without warranties
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months

11. Account Termination and Data Deletion

• You may request account deletion at any time from your dashboard
• After requesting deletion, you have a 30-day grace period to change your mind by signing back in
• After the grace period, all your data is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
• For Shopify App users, uninstalling the app initiates the same 30-day deletion process

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through our service.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Merchant Floor is operated, without regard to conflict of law principles.
